It is the season of SSC exams. However one should understand that the situation may be competitive but should not be tense. Here are some tips:
1. Read questions thoroughly before answering
2. Make sure you time every answer and do not go more than the time limit
3. Write to the point, do not exaggerate.
4. A golden rule: Before writing the exam, revise and recap. Do not study anything that you do not know or is totally fresh.
5. One hour before the exam, do not panic and talk with friends rather than mull over studies. Better still, close the book, meditate and recap
6. Do not upset your biological cycle. Eat and sleep on time. 
7. Study according to your style. If you prefer studying in the mornings do that. If nights suits you, which is fine too.
8. It is preferable to write the answers that you know. In other words, start with the questions that you are most comfortable with.
